Announcing Our 2026/27 Season

Emboldened by the success of two challenging, and diverse concerts in 2025/26, the appointment of an exciting new Artistic Director, and the (completely unexpected) honour of a National award, Bel Canto's 53rd season is going to be even more ambitious, and spectacular - from delicious new twists on the annual sing-along December concert, to a gala night in April performing Ola Gjeilo's exquisite Sunrise Mass together with The Elm City String Quartet and the Fredericton Kiwanis Youth Choir, and a late spring globe-trotting romp through the music of twelve different countries.

Scroll down for more information, and allons-y!

Raison d'être

For more than fifty years, The Bel Canto Singers have been bringing excellence in choral performance to audiences through the exploration of works spanning the traditional to the experimental, and from ancient to modern. Why? Because we love it.

Choral Stewardship

Hundreds of choristers have passed through our ranks over the years, and at times, the choir has had three family generations represented at the same time (as it does today).  Maintaining a healthy choral community in New Brunswick is key to continuing this tradition.
