Reviving a Christmas Tradition
Fans of Bel Canto will remember our December Wassail! concerts that ran for almost twenty years. We're bringing that spirit of fellowship back with a delicious  assortment of both unique, and familiar seasonal works to sing for you, and with you! From the haunting polyphony of Palestrina, to the infectious energy of Canada's Donald Patriquin, and with familiar melodies from Handel to Irving Berlin,  it will be an evening to celebrate and sing in the Christmas season!

Classical Music's Most Tragically
Romantic Love Triangle

We explore the bittersweet and complicated relationship between Robert and Clara Schumann - the most famous musical couple in the German speaking world in the 1850’s - and a young Johannes Brahms. Mentorship, friendship, crisis, tragedy and unrequited love will all be on display with selections from both of the Schumanns’ legendary careers, and Brahms’s brilliant collection of love songs, Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52, scored for voices and
– interestingly – four hands on one piano.
